On/off Package Plus Analogue Control

This package includes an analogue controller that enables users to remotely monitor process condition via analogue readings, i.e. in addition to monitoring on/off status. Alerts are automatically communicated in circumstances where preset control parameters are exceeded.

The package comes with a communicator unit hardwired to an analogue controller. This configuration has the capacity to monitor six on/off inputs, three analogue inputs, and regulate six relays.

Where more than three process variables are involved, ancillary controllers can be used. These are hard wired to the master controller, or there is the option to use R/F connection.

Up to three ancillary controllers can be specified, permitting 21 digital/ analogue process variables to be monitored and 12 outputs to be regulated in total.

The communicator box is mobile phone enabled and incorporates a SIM card providing access to local call rates from any location worldwide.

The SIM card offers three levels of connection, GPRS, CSD and Voice. Data is normally transmitted by GPRS, with the option to use a more secure CSD connection when configuring or upgrading the communicator.

Where satellite tracking is required, an e-rpm communicator box is supplied which has a GPS monitoring facility.

Alert messages when parameters are exceeded can be communicated by SMS message or e-mail (or both). There is the option to communicate with single or multi-users.

This package includes initialising software (INI), which enables alerts to be received and commands sent using plain English-structured language.

System security is ensured by PIN code protection.

A 12v supply is required and arrangements can be made to provide this via battery, solar, or wind power, i.e. if mains supply is not available, or permitted.
